What is Molina Dual Options Cal MediConnect Plan?
It's a program to provide better, coordinated health care for people with both Medicare and Medi-Cal, often called dual eligible or duals. Plans that participate in Cal MediConnect are called Medicare-Medicaid plans.

Why join a Medicare-Medicaid Plan?
By combining the two, you get Medicare and Medi-Cal services plus prescription drugs in one plan. To make it even easier, a care coordinator and care team works with you to ensure you get all the services you need.

Why join Molina Dual Options?

Can I keep my current doctor and other care providers?
We know it's important to you to keep receiving care without interruption. That's why we work with you and your doctors to make sure you get what you need. For 6 months, you may continue seeing physicians or receiving services that were authorized before you joined Molina Dual Options, to give Molina the chance to contract with your provider. Meanwhile, you must still call Member Services before seeing your provider.

After the time period you must get all your covered services from providers who work with Molina Dual Options Cal MediConnect. These are "in-network" providers. Your doctor must agree to work with Molina Dual Options Cal MediConnect.
