Use this chart to see which plan pays for the following health benefits. Either Passport Advantage (Medicare) or Passport Health Plan (Medicaid) will pay.

* Kentucky Medicaid pays second for mental health hospital stays and visits.
Things you need to know about what we cover:
- We will cover only health care that you need.
- We do not cover services, items, and medicines that Medicare does not cover.
- For some services and medicines, your provider must get approval before you can get the service or before you can fill the prescription.
- We will fully cover your health care only if you use providers that take Medicare and take Passport Health Plan or Kentucky Medicaid.
- We will cover medicines only if you use Passport Advantage pharmacies, unless it is an emergency.
- We will cover eye care services only if you use Passport Advantage eye care specialists, unless it is an emergency.
- Original Medicare covers services provided by a Medicare-certified hospice.
- Kentucky Medicaid covers non-emergency medical transportation
- Kentucky Medicaid pays second for mental health specialist visits, mental health hospital stays, and skilled nursing facility stays.
