Nurse Advice Line – No Question Is Too Simple Or Too Difficult!

Health advice is just a phone call away. You can call and talk with a registered nurse or listen to health topics any time of the day or night.

Before you call the Nurse Advice Line, you should always call your PCP first. If you cannot reach your PCP, registered nurses are here for you. They can provide you with information that is easy to understand.

The nurses may help you:

  • Decide if a situation is an emergency and if you need to go to the emergency room (ER).
  • With information so you can explain your health and medical concerns to your provider.
  • Better understand and follow your provider’s orders.
  • Understand the benefits and side effects of medications.
  • Pick the best exercises and foods for you and your family.
  • Understand medical tests and procedures.
  • Understand specific medical conditions like diabetes or asthma.
