Wheel of Vitamins

You need vitamins to help your body grow and stay healthy. You get vitamins from the foods you eat. Different foods contain different vitamins. You can also take vitamin pills. These pills are called vitamin supplements. Your body needs only a small amount of most vitamins every day. And some vitamin supplements can be harmful if you take too much. That is why it’s important to talk to your primary care provider (PCP) about the right amount for you.

Vitamin pills cannot take the place of a healthy diet. The vitamin wheel can help you learn about the following:
