How to Find Your Medicine

There are 3 ways to find out if a medicine is covered:

How to Use “Alphabetical Search”

  1. Click on the first letter of the name of your medicine. For example: if you want to know if Singulair is covered, you will click on “S.”
  2. This will take you to a list of all the medicines that begin with “S.”  Click on the name of your medicine and the dose to see if it is covered by Passport Health Plan.

How To Use “Brand & Generic Name Search”

  1. Type in the first 3 letters of the generic or brand name. For example, if you want to know if the brand name Singulair is covered, type in “Sin.”
  2. This will take you to a list of all the medicines that begin with those 3 letters.  Click on the name of your medicine and the dose you take to see if it is covered by Passport Health Plan.

How To Use “Therapeutic Class Search”

Every drug falls into a group or type of medicine called Therapeutic Class.

  1. You will see a list of all the therapeutic class names. Click on the therapeutic class of your medicine.
  2. This will take you to a list of all the sub class names.  Click on the name of your medicine and the dose you take to see if it is covered by Passport Health Plan.
