DeDe Davis is Vice President of Operations and Contracting with the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies. She has accountability for Passport Health Plan, a Medicaid Managed Care Organization under contract with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and Passport Advantage, a Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan under contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for a total of $850 million in revenue under management. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, DeDe is a United States Navy veteran serving 11 years both active and reserve duty. She served in the Navy's Intelligence Program during Operation Desert Storm and was the first female in the Navy with assignment to Operation Deny Flight, a NATO Operation supporting protection of the Bosnia No Fly Zone. Her tenure in Operation Deny Flight earned her the Joint Services Commendation Medal. She also earned 3 Navy Achievement Medals and the Navy Commendation Medal prior to being honorably discharged in 1997 to return to civilian life and a focus on family and her healthcare career. DeDe brings over 19 years of progressive healthcare experience to her position at AmeriHealth Mercy, inclusive of Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid business. She has led internal teams to deliver three consecutive excellent accreditations via the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for the Passport Health Plan line of business and the Plan is currently ranked the number nine Medicaid Health Plan in the Country as reported by US News and World Report and NCQA. She supports the corporate operation team in achieving company wide operational excellence. |
