Diabetics and their family members and caregivers have the opportunity to interact with physicians, dentists, health educators, and nutritionists during a series of 20-minute, rotating cafe conversations.

Diabetes Conference
On Saturday, November 14, 2009, Passport Health Plan hosted a free, community-wide seminar on living well with diabetes, one of the most prevalent chronic diseases among Kentuckians. From 9am to 1:30pm, diabetics and their family members and caregivers had the opportunity to interact with physicians, dentists, health educators, and nutritionists during a series of 20-minute, rotating cafe conversations. The event took place at St. Stephen Family Life Center, 1008 South 15th Street, Louisville, KY 40210.

Healthy Hoops Kentucky
Healthy Hoops Kentucky gives children and their families the opportunity to participate in a half day of medical screenings, basketball drills, and fun activities. The event uses basketball skills to teach children how to manage asthma.
